Sacral agenesis is an unusual congenital malformation of the lower vertebral column, frequently associated with rothopedic deformities as well as neurological and anorectal malformations. Especially in rehabilitation field, it may be the cause of
spinal
cord injury and subsequent neurogenic bladder, and if the diagnosis is delayed, vesicoureteral reflux, hydronephrosis or chronic urinary tract infections are the final results. So early diagnosis, complete neurourological evaluation and adequate
management with careful follow-up of risk factors of the upper urinary tract are mandatory.
We report out experience treating one case of sacral agenesis associates with delayed development in 16 months old female patient without any other signs of complication nor congenital anomalies.
